OUCH THAT HURTS
I LOVE CREEKS LIKE THIS
SKIPPING STONES FROM BANK TO BANK
WITH MINNOWS NIBBLING ON MY TOES
PLAYING AND EXPLORING UP AROUND THE BEND
WADING KNEE DEEP
ON AN IDYLIC SUMMER DAY
UNTIL I AM REMINDED THAT CRAWDADS BITE
