This week has been wild weather-wise in San Diego. Just today I battled rain, snow, sleet and hail as I drove 45 minutes to Mount Laguna from the coast.
It made me think how precarious and tough the life of our ancestors had to have been.
We take warm shelter, comfortable transportation, and safety from wild things for granted, but they had none of those things.
