ORGINAL POETRY

ONE FOR FUN

Sitting by the fire
Getting mildly higher
Waiting for the tide to ebb

Sitting on the cliff top
Letting my mind stop
Waiting for the sun to set

Sitting on the hillside
Watching the mudslide
Waiting for the house to fall

Sitting in an old chair
Rocking in the crisp air
Waiting for the rhyme to end
